I had the privilege of getting to know the Klein family when my son, Alexander, was dating their lovely and sweet daughter, Hannah. Everytime we went to Saddleback San Clemente, there was Scott smiling and greeting you with that amazing and welcoming smile. My heart breaks for this wonderful family as the loss is so great! I know that Alexander really looked up to Scott, and was very happy to have had the chance to know him. May God Bless you all and keep you strong, and comfort you all the days of your lives.

Barbara and daughters, We were high school classmates, and attended Richard's memorial service 20 years ago...my condolences. I can still see Scott, his smiling face, his wire-rimmed glasses, on campus at South Hills High School. He was so kind, and well-liked by everyone! We hope your memories will bring you comfort during this difficult time.

Barbara, Kelly, Basia, Hannah, and Phalan,
Our hearts are broken! What a wonderful dad and husband Scott was; you were the lights in his life. He was an extraordinary man; kind, thoughtful, humorous and so willing to help others. He will be dearly missed but his love & legacy shines on through his precious daughters whom he adored. We pray that God will provide you His peace and comfort as you mourn. Lean on the Lord. If there is anything we can do to help, please call us.
With Love,
Steve, Marianne, Matt, Lauren, Andrew, Mark & Paul Richards

Barbara,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Scott will always be remembered as a quiet gentle soul who loved his family very much. He was truly a hard workingman, whether in Kansas or San Clemente at home with his girls.
When I think of Scott, I think of the incredible carpentry skills he had as he tackled those special projects at home or the wonderful aroma that came from your kitchen. He will be missed. Our prayers are asking God to hold you in the palm of his hands. Peace and Love to you…..
