As the days go by I am finding it increasingly difficult to come to terms with the realization that you are no longer here. I take solace in the fact that I got to spend 50 years with you and that you will ALWAYS be my brother. You will forever be in my thoughts and will NEVER be forgotten.

Dad I will forever cherish our times together, you were by far the best dad a man could be! You lived and let me live, never judged but always made sure you were there for us when needed. You held all my babies before me, walked me down the isle but most importantly taught me valuable lessons on how to be a great person. I thank god today you had me at such a young age and proved to be a stand up man in raising me, therefore I shared a wonderful 32 years with you as my dad, but also as my best friend. I now know when it's my time that I will have the biggest grizzly hug waiting for me in heaven. That comforts me! Please watch over us as you always have and I promise to not let a single moment go by without missing you. I love you daddy.
As my wedding song said thank you for being my first love.
