To the Maher family, I'd like to express my condolences on your loss.
Sean and I began our career at Ryerson in the spring of 1983 and had a very nice friendship from the start. Ryerson was both of our first real jobs and were very excited about building a career. I always held Sean in great admiration in his ability to make new friends. He was truely a very special person. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

To the Maher Family,
I am very sorry for your loss. I'll never forget Sean as the cadet colonel whom many of us looked up to as underclassmen. He was a man of honor, and a man who stood out among many other exceptional students at the Academy. He truly led by example. May God bless all of you during these difficult days.

May we all hope to impact people with such a committed and heartfelt force as well as accomplish the things Sean has throughout his life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, classmate, friend or business colleague. No one will forget his smile, his laugh or the twinkle in his eye. He led by example and was a positive role model for so many--what a legacy he created. My sympathies to Maria and his beautful family.
Dear Tom, Alice, Molly, Carrie, Shelagh, Bridget and Colleen,
Sheridan, Alyce and the Buckley girls send heartfelt hugs to all of you.

The Maher Family,
Please accept my condolences. I know what you are going through. I lost my son, Mark Saad '79, on June 18, 2010. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't shed tears. My heart is broken. The only consolation I get is in knowing that he no longer has to suffer from his cancer and he is with God.
This may help you, it has me. With the world the way it is, I feel that Jesus is collecting his army and he needs the good guys. God bless you all.

To Maria and the entire Maher family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
I was fortunate enough to have attended STA with Sean for 4 years. I also feel blessed to have had the opportunity to visit with Sean again at our 30 year class reunion shortly before his illness.
Sean is one of the most kind, humble and gracious men that I have ever met.
He is an example to all who knew him.
He will not be forgotten.
May God bless Sean, and each one of you until the day that you are all reunited.

Maria and Family -
I am so sorry for your loss. It was such a pleasure to get to know you and Sean during just the brief time we spent together nearly two decades ago in Westchester, PA. He was a great example of a father and husband and I know he will be missed.
I feel blessed that Sean and I had a chance to catch up a couple years ago at the STA Cadet Colonel Centennial Ceremony. I only wish we could have taken in a Big Green Homecoming game together too as they revive the winning ways Sean and I both experienced as players. The Cadets and the Big Green have lost a true champion.
We pray that the pain of his loss will eventually turn to joy as you cherish his memory and the thought that he is with our Savior in heaven. May the Lord give you strength during this time.
