Having met Sean in the early 90's when he hired me for a job at Data Translation I have many memories. Working together for many years, I'm glad that we became more than just coworkers but friends for which I'll always be grateful. I wanted to share one particular memory that I will remember fondly. Back in the day it was fashionable to get Christmas gifts for coworkers and managers. One particular year I had given Sean a gadget, the kind of thing you could pick up at Spencer Gifts or Newbury Comics, that would play back various sayings from Beavis And Butthead (an animated series on MTV that we shared an affinity for). Fast forward to a few years ago, Sean was telling me a story of how he was showing it to a coworker at MathWorks. Sean was telling of how this coworker was impressed especially since he still had it in the original packaging. The coworker was saying how the thing was a collector's item. I'm thinking to myself that wow not only did he still have it in working order but he thought enough to hold on to it with the original packing. One of the small things in life that I'll always remember about my friend who will be missed!

Epic mountain biking in Moab, Utah. Sean introduced me to much more perilous levels of riding. He was a great travel companion and strong rider. We had many fun adventures and beers afterwards. I miss you, my brother!

I had the pleasure of knowing Sean for over 18 years. Not only did we have our birthdays in common, we shared common interests and the love of many things.
We worked together at Data Translation for 12 years, he was my boss and I enjoyed every moment of that job mainly because he made it that way.
I was Sean´s chocolate supplier and we had a daily debate on which chocolate was the best one...that Lindt 70% Dark chocolate bar was a clear winner and his favorite!
Another food we had a passion for was Aunt Annie´s pretzels....I searched for the recipe and shared it with Sean and we both went home to try it out - the results were catastrophic to us both, but the laughs were unforgettable!
Other than software, one of our favorite topics was cars and Sean would keep me entertained with a new model in the parking lot every few months lol!
There are so many memories that I have with my friend that I will forever hold close to my heart and I feel extremely blessed to have had my life touched by Sean.
Rest in peace Buddy ~
