Sergio Cortes

Absecon - Sergio Cortes, 79, of Absecon and formerly of Vineland, passed away on January 12, 2021 at Atlanticare Medical Center in Atlantic City. He was born in Utuado, PR to the late Felipe and Ines Cortes. Sergio loved shooting pool and playing dominoes. He was well know for being a "Big Flirt". He is survived by his daughter, Guendlyn Cortes; several grandchildren; brothers, Dionicio, Felipe & Alfredo Cortes; his sisters, Guillermina Gomez, Julie Cortes & Ines Bermudez and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents Sergio was predeceased by his brother, Tomas Cortes and sister, Milagros Perez. Due to COVID-19 restrictions everyone is required to wear a mask and social distance.

A church visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 10am to 11am followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am from Divine Mercy Parish, 23 West Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360.
