My god father Shan
We would always be excited when we knew Shan was coming around, we'd know that we'd be in for a laugh, a sugar high and just mischief in general
Thank you for being my mum's best friend for so many years, it was easier losing her knowing she would be greeted by your big warm hugs
I love and miss you every day, can't wait for the day that we are reunited

It was a major shock to receive the drastic news that Shannon had suddenly passed. A diamond amongst the rough. He was a friend from the first time we met and will be until our last breath. A straight shooter, intelligent , high quality tradesman and a great family man. Shannon is a major loss to everyone he had in his circle and will be greatly missed by us.
Deepest heart felt sympathy to his family.

Dear Shan,
Words aren't going to do justice to speak of such an incredibly wonderful man who was taken away so suddenly.
Many many fond memories that will be held dear and remembered often.
Our crazy teenage years in Bendigo painting the town red and then waking home drinking out of random people's garden hoses, dancing under their sprinkles until they ushered us away in the kindest of ways Not! It normally ended up with us running away laughing and having that feeling of excitement at nearly being caught.
As we grew and got licenses it was you who would come and collect me from my nights out and hold my hair when needed. The favour was returned, we were just like that.
Through all the fun & madness we had you still were the most loyal & kind friend a girl could have asked for. You always put others before your self, a true gentleman. One of a kind !!
May you fly high with your beautiful Mother, give her big squeeze for me please x

To our darling Rach, words alone at this time about the way you guys made us feel every time we came home to visit, to see the friendly smile on your faces, the warm greetings with a cuddle, a nod of the head, a firm hand shake & a gas bag can never replace the knowledge that we will àll ways remember what a great couple you made together & especially the way you made Shannon feel, special ! Our heartfelt sympathy to Shannons family and friends. Hadnt seen Shannons for a few years but we have special memories of the years Shannon hung out with our son Matthew Austin. We are united in such a sad time for us all.I can just see both boys now stiring up a storm together and waiting for us all on the other.
