Sharon Rae Hildebrand, 56, of Parker, passed away on Nov. 28, 2021, at UPMC Hamot in Erie after an extended illness with her family by her side.
She was born Sept. 13, 1965, in Grove City, and was the daughter of Allen Clayton and the late Laura (Garlick) Clayton.
She was a 1983 graduate of Lakeview High School, and went on to work at Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency.
Sharon was a kindhearted and giving person, who would do anything for anyone who needed it. She enjoyed her weekly dinners with her father, her cats, Bert and Ernie, and was an amazing wife, daughter, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Sharon was married to her beloved husband, William J. Hildebrand, whom she married Aug. 14, 1993. He survives at home.
In addition to her father and husband, Sharon is survived by her sisters, Cindy Troy of Stoneboro, Stacy Schulz and her husband, Dan, of Jackson Center; her sister-in-law, Janie Nail and her husband, David, of Eau Claire; and her nephew and nieces whom she adored, Jarrett and Jensen Troy, and Kaitlin Nail.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray and Mary Clayton, and Margaret and Russell Garlick.
HILDEBRAND - Family and friends of Sharon Rae Hildebrand, who died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, 3236 S. Main St., Sandy Lake.
A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Brandon Moore officiating.
Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Because of Sharon's love for animals, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Sharon's name to Stray Haven, 94 Donation Road, Greenville, PA 16125.
