Shigeo Nakashima Obituary
Peacefully, on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Sumie for 62 years, cherished father of David (Anna) and Beverly Constant (Dan). Much-loved grandpa of Steven, Julie, Sara, Nicholas, Lyrissa, Christopher and Brandon. Dear brother of Mickey. Predeceased by siblings Helen, Sherry, Tosh and Yaki. He will be greatly missed by his extended family. Friends and family may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. Remembrances may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca

Dear Mrs. Nakashima and Family,
We are saddened by the news of Mr. Nakashima's passing. He was a dear neighbour who will be fondly remembered as a smiling, caring, thoughtful man who always stopped to chat, generously shared cucumbers from his garden and meticulously measured out his flower beds with chopsticks and string.
Marigolds and red geraniums will forever remind us of him and his wonderful smile!
