Shirley GOLBERG Obituary
With dignity and courage, on Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Beloved wife of Mitchell Golberg for sixty years. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Linda and Alan Greenberg, Stephen Golberg, and Sydney Golberg. Cherished "Nanny" of Warren and Lisa Greenberg, Alana and Justin Hurvitz. Proud "Big Nanny" of Mason James Greenberg. Shirley will be sadly missed by Junior, her family, and all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank Dr. Small and the staff of the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Special thanks to her caregivers Claudia, Rachelle, Ingela, Pauline, and Val for their love and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Friday, June 26 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Beit Abraham Family Estates Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at her home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. through Sunday evening. Donations in her memory may be made to the Segal Cancer Centre c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.
