Sophie Weaver Obituary
89, of Laurel View Village, Davidsville, PA, died April 1, 2007, at Laurel View. Born Aug. 9, 1917, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Wansolich. Preceded in death by son, Earl W. Weaver; brothers, Joseph and Anthony; and sisters, Josephine Cicotti and Stella Borsa. Totally devoted wife of Robert Weaver of Davidsville, to whom she had been married for 66 years, and devoted mother of Robert Weaver, Jr. of Peoria, AZ and Linda, wife of William Krupa of Johnstown; loving grandmother to Diane, wife of William Doyen of Annapolis, MD, Darla, wife of Daniel Jackson of Johnstown, Robert Weaver, III of Aston, PA and Tracey Weaver of Pittsburgh; also six great- grandchildren; sister of Julia Gianni of Bridgeville, PA and Jennie Fassio and Mary Towchik, both of Canonsburg, PA. Sophie suffered the past few years with the very devastating Alzheimer's disease. We sincerely thank Pastor Wes Yoder and all the wonderful people at Laurel View Village for the very excellent and loving care they gave to our mother and grandmother. A private family viewing at GEORGE E. MASON FUNERAL HOME, Davidsville, PA. Interment, Pittsburgh, PA. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday at Laurel View Village, Davidsville, Pastor Wes Yoder officiating.

Linda and Family;
I am deeply saddened to hear of Aunt Sophie's passing. I just found out from Phyllis. I took Gram and my mom to visit them on several occasions when they were living in Glenshaw, I know Gram loved being able to see her sister.
