Stacie Adela Wade Stefka was taken from us on Nov. 11, 2011.
Stacie was born on Oct. 24, 1969, in North Hollywood, Calif., and lived in the San Fernando Valley, Simi Valley and most of her years in the lovely Santa Rosa Valley, graduating from Camarillo High School in 1987 before residing in Springcreek, Nev. She was a celebrated teacher for second graders at Southside Elementary School in Elko, Nev., where her friends and school "kids" were her passion.
Stacie's brother, Thomas Anthony (Tony) Wade, sister, Kevyn Anne Wade, and mom, Diane J. Wade, along with all of our family members and friends share comfort knowing when Stacie flew high above the clouds and was welcomed home, she said with a smile, "I'm resting in the arms of Jesus and Dad! (Tom Wade, deceased July 2010). See you guys later. Love you tons." That was our sweet Stacie. Her funny spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
The Celebration of Life for Stacie will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Maravilla Gardens, 8620 Santa Rosa Road in Santa Rosa Valley.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Southside Elementary School in Elko, Nev., to create a "giving tree" and bench next to Stacie's classroom, or to support the local animal shelter or to support the Harbor House for Domestic Violence, Elko, Nev.
