Stacy Hartoon Obituary
Stacy was born in Houston, Texas on December 3, 1976. She graduated from Westfield High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design degree from the University of North Texas.
After graduation Stacy moved to Arkansas to work as a designer for Dillard's Department Store. She later returned to Houston to work as a manager at Buffalo Exchange. She soon started working part time as a doorperson at Rudyard's British Pub. She quickly moved into managing the door staff at Rudyard's as well as tending bar for Rudyard's, Poison Girl and the Little Dipper. In 2014 Stacy became the booking manager at Rudyard's. This was where Stacy truly shined bringing her love of and enthusiasm for music to the Houston music scene. In 2018 became general manager at Rudyard's.
Stacy never lost her love of fashion and sewing. Lately she enjoyed quilting and the quilting community. She also found joy in her lifelong love of music (Morrissey anyone?), fashion and friends. Her friendship and love touched many people.
She is survived by her parents Susan and Harlan; brother, Ray; and French Bulldog, Pearl.
Stacy's parents ask that in lieu flowers or donations to the family you please donate to the Musicians Benevolent Society of Houston, or any charity of your choosing.
A Celebration of Life for Stacy will be held Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rockefellers, 3620 Washington Ave, Houston, Texas 77007.
A visitation will be Monday, January 28, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pat H. Foley & Company.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Pat H. Foley & Company.
