Stephen Bernard Pharr Mr. Stephen "Steve " Bernard Pharr, age 55, 905 South Iredell Avenue, Spencer, died Sunday June 26 at his residence. Mr. Pharr was born July 5, 1949 in Rowan County to the late Pearlie Cowan Pharr. He was a graduate of R.A. Clement High School, Cleveland; Cleveland County Community Technical School, Shelby, and attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College. He was employed with Thompson Industrial Services, Concord, as an Electrician. Mr. Pharr was a member of Third Creek AME Zion Church; and the Men 's Booster Club. Survivors include his wife Willie Mae Horne Pharr of the home; daughter Stephanie Pharr, Philadelphia, Pa.; step son, Reginald E. Horne, of the home; stepdaughters LaTosha D. Woods, Kannapolis; LaShonda R. Horne, Salisbury, Neacie Anderson, Darlene Anderson, Veronica Anderson, Melva Anderson, Wynetta Anderson, Angela Anderson and Deirdre Anderson all of Philadelphia, Pa; brothers John Henry Pharr (Patricia), Ft. Wayne, Ind., Billy W. Pharr (Marcella), Philadelphia, Pa., Ray W. Pharr (Odell Elizabeth), Henderson, Clark T. Pharr (Dorothy), Charlotte; sisters, Beulah P. Witherspoon, Philadelphia, Pa, and Robin D. Pharr, Salisbury; four grandchildren, Tyesha Pharr, Tyrone Pharr, Tyrell Pharr, Cassandra Pharr, all of Philadelphia, Pa.; two step grandchildren, Nevaeh Price and Jakyra Wynruit, Salisbury and one aunt Thelma Cowan, Philadelphia, Pa. Services: Thursday, 2 p.m., A.R. Kelsey Memorial Chapel Visitation: one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial: Cedar Grove AME Zion Church Cemetery, in Barber. The family will receive friends at the home on Iredell Avenue. Online condolences may be sent to [email protected]. Noble and Kelsey Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
