Dr. Fibel was my doctor from the time I was born, all throughout my childhood. From what I am told, I had severe ear problems after I was born and at one point no doctor could see me for days while I had a severe infection and high temperatures. Dr. Fibel was called and immediately was able to treat me. I was told I was hours away from potentially being deaf for the rest of my life. A few years later my little brother was born and starting to speak. He was having developmental issues and a bad apeach impediment, amd no one could hardly understand him. His wife worked with my brother consistently and with lots of time and love helped my brother speak a lot normally and helped him in the early stages to make his life better and easier. I remember him always being happy, filled with joy, he made going to the doctors enjoyable, and he gave me a geode one day that I still have and cherish.

Yvette, This is from Carol Graff. I met you at LA Fitness a couple of years ago.
We had dinner at a Thai restaurant with you & Steven. Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of Steven. We spoke so much about our husband's cancer (Corky has prostate cancer). My heart aches for you and your family. You are in my prayers.

I met Steve 3 years ago and found him to be a very kind, intuitive and caring physician. He had endured a lot in his preceding 4 years but never wanted words of sympathy. Deep down, very tough guy. Always brought healthy fresh fruit to his office visits. He was also always very courteous to office staff. He will be missed by all who had a chance to know him. - L.S. Shukla M.D. (Steve's Pulmonary Physician)

We are fortunate to have known Dr. Steven Fibel and have been frequent recipients of his generosity and kindness. His stand up comedy routines always put a smile on our face. We will sincerely miss him.

Shocked and saddened by the news. Steven was a master at balancing hardship with humor. I will miss his wit and imagination. A real mensch!
