I always hear you calling my name from the top of the stairs in the house we shared as roommates Steve. You are a great friend not to be forgotten. A bird whispered, there's only one way to the top. Memories of everyday life around you are always there to give me strength forevermore.

I moved to Vegas in 1984 and met Stevie at Eiferman's Gym. We became friends and roommates. We competed, worked at Caesar's as Gladiators, TV commercials, photo shoots, conventions, Musclegram, Muscle Madness at the Shark Club and promoted the first NPC LAS VEGAS CLASSIC in 1990, as well as the World Gym Classic, Ironman Natural and Nevada State Championships. I have a lifetime of incredible memories with Stevie. Best friend, incredible Dad. always a giver and fun guy to be around. God Bless you, your family and friends. I miss you so much already. Love you, Bro.

Steve Karr
My dear dear friend since 1980
As we my family called him
Stevie boom!! boom!! Karr!!
I was truly blessed the day I meet you!
Many memories remain with me, oh yeah the good old days we shared dancing, just hanging out and our kids playing together.
Oh yes and especially your bodybuilding performance, when you came out dancing. Wow not only the girls, but the whole crowd went wild with cheers, you certainly stoled the show!!

I will miss most of all my annual talks with you catching you up on my kids and grandkids, you were always a great listener and friend!
But I will not say goodbye my friend for you will always be in my heart
I shall find peace in knowing; Heaven has another Angel dancing in Heaven
So until we meet again RIP my dear friend!

To Austin
I know your father adored you since the day you were born and I am so sorry for your loss!
May you find some peace in the good times and memories of your father and in knowing that some day you will be together again!
My deepest condolences to you and your family.
I pray the Lord comfort you and your family
In this time of sadness and sorrow. May he comfort you and wipe away your tears, may he quickly and completely restore you and your family to peace in mind body and soul.

Steve, so well remembered.

Steve was a wonderful friend, mentor & all around great man.
I will never forget our many years working & traveling together. We would spend long hours planning & talking about the next event, his work ethic was tremendous. He had an impact on my life that will definitely last.
In our 25 year friendship it was full of so many great times. I learned so much from him, he was that type of man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family & our fellow friends and colleagues he will be greatly missed . Love you Stevie.

I am so sorry and saddened to hear of Steve's passing. When I joined 24hr fitness 6 years ago he was the first person to come speak with me. He was always willing to give advice to my 2 sons and gave my oldest his phone number in case he had any questions. A real standup guy!! Going to miss seeing you there my friend. God Bless you and your family.

Steve Karr

Steve Karr was an amazing man. He was a generous, kind, loving, and caring man with a heart as big as the sea. He thought about others before he thought about himself.

Steve Karr loved my music. He asked me to play violin at his grand daughters birthday. I was honored to do so. Steve was grateful for his friends and family. Especially, his granddaughter Bella.

If I could say anything to Steve right now, it would say thank you. Thank you for your support, thank you for be such a good friend, thank you for being such a good role model, thank you.

Steve would always say supportive things to me like: you music is amazing, you are so talented, you are such a good girl. I remember when he came to my birthday party, and the first thing he said was You look so cute! That was my favorite thing he ever said to me. His personality was so strong. He was truly an amazing man.

He will always be in my heart.
Love always,
Alexis Forman

I am very saddened to hear of Steve's passing. We were neighbors for 20 years & shared a lawnmower. We first met when I saw that his sprinklers weren't working & I fixed them. Steve was a great person. He always had a smile for everyone. I am sorry that he is gone.

Will never forget meeting Stevie in early eighties at George Eiferman's gym in Las Vegas. Steve was always friendly and willing to help me out with questions and training. He was well known among the regulars at the gym for his powerful build, strength and great personality. Gonna miss you, my friend.

I competed my first time in November 2016, & Steve was always so quick & thorough to get back to me with any questions I had. I had the privilege of meeting him at the show, & I am saddened to realize I won't be able to work with him again. Truly an honor to have known him the short time that I did. May he rest in peace, and my condolensces to his family and friends .
