I only now found out about Steve's passing. Steve was an exceptional man. I got to know him well when his family lived in Dallas and his son Ryan and my son Mark were also good friends. Steve was a kind, generous man who loved his family and shared my love for sports. One of the truly great men who endeared himself to all those who knew him and had the privilege to spend time with him. To quote Elton John Your candle burned out long before your legend ever did. It was an honor to have known Steve. God Bless and Rest In Peace.
