We know that nothing that is loved is ever lost; and no-one who's ever touched a heart can really pass away. Some beauty lingers on in each memory of which they've been a part. Our very deepest sympathy to Susan's lovely family.
A friend for life, gone too soon.

Susan was a friend for life. So many shared her friendship as she was always welcoming, the first to make everyone feel comfortable. I will always cherish our times as teenagers and adults sharing our troubles and triumphs. She always had time, was a good listener and helped me, many through tough times while always being a rock for her family. She was, is loved, always will be and I hope the family finds comfort in how much she was cherished and will be missed. I so miss her not being a phone call away. We are better for having Susan in our lives.

My beautiful Liberian sister, friend and inspiration. You leave a hole where only you and your memories can reside. You will always be loved, never forgotten. Fly free, most lovely soul.

Susan, you have been my dearest & most treasured friend. How I miss you so. My best memories have always been of the two of us in Liberia & our conversations on the phone were we laughed so hard it hurt. Our last I will treasure most. We were joined at the hip my friend & our hearts. I will forever be blessed to have had you in my life. I love you & will love you always. ♥
To Susan's most precious ones, her family. I'm so truly sorry for your loss & pain. Your many memories though, I hope, will help you through this journey. Susan was such a bright star & left a little piece of her in every one she loved. She loved you all, her family, most of all!

My family grew up with Susan and Sam in Liberia. She was my sister's closest friend, a relationship that stayed strong through the years.

I am saddened to hear about Susan's passing. I remember her as a sweet funny girl in high school. And I am happy we got to meet again at the last acs reunion. Taken too soon.
