1958 - 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the centre of our family, Susan Lee Beliveau. Susan passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, October 31, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband Kirk; daughters Lauren (Chris Gilchrist); and Lisa; father John Demke; sister Doris (George) Paul; nephew Anthony; and niece Alexis. Susan was predeceased by her mother Margaret Demke. She will also be dearly missed by many friends including her RUH OR family, exercising friends, and the Dragon Boat ladies. Susan was known to always have a smile on her face. She will be remembered by all for her kind and loving personality, generous nature, and contagious laugh. Susan enjoyed her career as a registered nurse and dedicated over 35 years of her life to this profession. A Celebration of Susan's Life will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th St, first right past Briargate Rd, Saskatoon). In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Susan may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (www.cbcf.org). Online condolences may be sent from www.hillcrestmemorial.ca. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Charmaine Menard.

Dear Kirk, Lisa and Lauren, Although I wasn't able to see Sue while I was in and out of Saskatoon in the past year, I still had the opportunity to speak with her. She was a great friend in nursing school and after and followed in the same tracks when she went into OR nursing. As so many have mentioned always a smile, great laugh and positive. She thought the world of you all and I know many will miss her deeply. Distance didn't always allow us to regularly connect and I know she didn't like answering email but I will miss my phone calls with her. My thoughts are with you - she was a real treasure.
