Susan Marie Skarman Henrickson

Susan Marie Skarman Henrickson, 47, of Cloquet died peacefully with grace, surrounded by her family and friends on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, in St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. She was born Sept. 20, 1956, in Duluth to Gerald and Kathleen (Anderson) Skarman. Susan graduated from Central High School in 1974. She attended the College of St. Scholastica and University of Minnesota - Duluth. She worked as an accountant for several area businesses owned by a loyal friend. Since 1995 she worked in the office at Duluth Superior Blacktop in Duluth. Susan lived her life with a kind hearted, giving personality and a sense of humor that touched many lives. This is evident by the number of visitors in her last days. Susan was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Skarman. She is survived by her soul mate, Bob Shofner of Cloquet; her children, Derek (Molly Gilberg) Henrickson and Emily Henrickson both of Cloquet and their father, Robert Henrickson of Two Harbors; her parents, Kathleen and Terrence Dwyer of Cloquet; brother, Steven (Debbie) Skarman of Duluth; and sister, Sandra Young of Victoria, Texas. VISITATION:2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. memorial service Wednesday, September 24, 2003 in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 12th and Doddridge in Cloquet with Chaplain Carrie Manty officiating.
