Susan Teska Novak, 63, of Batavia passed away on March 23, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 16, 1959 in Aurora, IL to Leonard and Dorothy (Krejci) Teska. Sue attended east side schools and graduated from East Aurora High School with the class of 1977. After completing her college education she began her career at Bell Labs (Lucent Technologies) where she met her future husband Robert Novak. She also volunteered her time at Fox Valley Food For Health where families dealing with a health crisis are provided much needed meals. She is also survived by her siblings Mark, Mike (Connie), Rich (Angela), Larry (Lorie), and Nancy (Brian) Kayzar. In addition she leaves behind her sister-in-law Christine (Dan) DeBoo along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sue was a wonderful role model who led by example. She was loving, hardworking, dependable, and thorough. She will be dearly missed. She now joins her parents Leonard and Dorothy Teska and her in-laws James and Eleanor Novak in Heaven. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 Main Street, Batavia, IL 60510 with inurnment immediately following at West Batavia Cemetery.
