Susan Trudell Obituary

Published by Tampa Bay Times on Apr. 18, 2012.
TRUDELL, Susan was called to be with her Lord on April 15th surrounded by her loving family and an outstanding, caring team of doctors and nurses at Florida Pepin Heart Hospital, Tampa. She fought a valiant battle to survive. She is the beloved daughter of Dr. Pat Mulieri, Pasco County Commissioner. She is survived by her father John Winans, son Michael Winans, a Navy veteran; sister Caprice Frosch; step-father James Mulieri, brother-in-law Kenny Frosch; and many nieces and nephews. All will miss Susan's smiling face and gentle way. She loved life and was kind and generous to all. She left a void that cannot be filled. Susan was born July 10, 1959 and lived in North Babylon, NY. She moved to Florida in 1979 because she loved the sunshine, the beaches and the lifestyle. She graduated from Hillsborough Community College with a paralegal degree and also attended Pasco Hernando Community College. A celebration of her life is planned for Wednesday April 18 at Dobies Funeral Home on Congress St. Family members will greet visitors between 3-7pm. A memorial service will be hosted by Pastor Bob Hope at Regency Baptist Church, Washington Street, NPR on Thursday at 11am. Fellowship to follow. dobiesfuneralhome.com

Need to sign this guest book one more time as I was the first signer of this guest book and was in total, complete, shock to hear about Susan.

Susan and I, along with Pam Nickla, Debbie Maribella, and Marlene Miano was known as the "Fearsome Fivesome" in high school. We were all so very close and shared many great times together. Many, many, laughs and memories were shared in those carefree high schooldays.

Although Susan was so well known for her physical beauty, I was fortunate enough to be close to Susan as we shared our high school years together along with the "Fearsome Fivesome" crew. We did everything together, (sometimes we all dressed in the same outfits to school) and enjoyed our Spring break in our senior year in Fort Lauderdale.

Susan had it all and her best trait was her "modesty". She enjoyed life and treated everyone she met well. I always had the ability to make her laugh and I will always remember that about Susan.

Rest in peace my dear, beautiful friend. You touched many people's lives and you will never be forgotten.

Until we met again. Love you always, your friend, Cindy Wulff Farley

So saddened by the news of my dear (but long lost) friend and cheerleader. Suzie was fun and beautiful and a free spirit that everyone wanted to be around. My sincerest sympathies go out to her son, Michael, her parents and entire family. I know she will be missed. I am happy to have a snapshot of her smiling face engraved in my mind from our cheerleading days. We had a lot of laughs and I am thankful for the memories. God Bless.

My thoughts and prayers to the entire family. Susan was a shining star and will be missed by all who knew here. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Cindy Wulff Farley
