Susan was such a shining presence in my life - I am blessed to have known her and call her my friend. She was so talented and shared of herself to all she met. I will miss her laugh and smile.

It is difficult to put into words my sadness for the sudden loss of our beloved Susan. At IBM, she was my mentor, idol, friend, and confidant. I always lovingly referred to her as my "work mom", because she was honest, loving, and always wanted the best for me. We spoke nearly every day this year and she is the only reason I have had any success as a coach.
Our last conversation truly captured her relationship with me and many others: 2 hours of conversation filled with laughter, positivity, and advice.
I feel so honored that she was a part of my life. There is a huge void in our hearts. I am so grateful for the brief time we spent together, and I wish I was in California this week to say goodbye. I love you very much, Susan, and I pray for peace and strength for your beautiful family. The world won't be the same without you.

Susie is a shining gem, so beautiful, inside and out...and with the kind of beauty that glimmers light onto those around her (not taking on more light just for herself). God bless everyone who's been basking in all of Susie's glow, warmth, love, and fun...and may your hearts treasure the love, the life, that is truly beating on...and on...and on. Blessed to have been in her midst...and still wanting more. Looking forward to that. Love to you all...Shirley, Greg, Debbie, Julie, Jake...and everyone in her great big family of friends. Hugs and prayers....to be continued!

I remember when I first met Susan - the tall, tough lady who handled" Universal Studios, a huge account for IBM, and she wore really nice suits - smile. I'm thankful for the time I spent with her. She had a big smile and joy of life. I'm grateful for her wisdom and encouragement. I already miss her but know she is being well taken care of! To her children, family and many friends I pray that your wonderful memories of Susan will help sustain you at this time.

To my dearest Susie in heaven now, Words can not possibly express the gratitude I have for having had Susie in my life. I am the woman I am today because of the woman you were before me. You were the most gracious and attentive listener, always remembering special notations about things I had said and always making it a point to draw feelings out of me with your special questions. I remember so many times you have told me you prayed for me and about me asking God for the words to guide me and the outcome was always just what I needed. I will forever miss your super sweet and glowing smile, your loving words of encouragement, and your memory will never fade. God blessed this world with you in a unique way and my life was forever impacted the day I met you as now my life is forever impacted for having known you. I Love you always and forever, my dear friend.

Susan, I'm not sure if I've ever told you this...but I think of you everyday. I think of you and your "Susanisms" when I'm getting frustrated with others. I think of you when I'm celebrating myself. I think of you when I'm buying my father cycling shorts. Thus far, I haven't come across a situation where I can't revert back to your wisdom.
Thank you for having such an impact on my professionally and personally.
I love and miss you dearly.

Words can not express the gratitude I have for having known such an angelic woman. Susie you were the most inspirational woman to me personally and I wish I could tell you how you affected my life so profoundly but I know you are with me now and you know I feel. You were the most kind hearted listener, always had a wise word, and taught me to remain in the beautiful moments as we were being blessed with them. You will forever live in my mind, my heart and my memory of you shall never fade. I thank God for blessing me with you in my life for the time we had. You were truly one of a kind. XO All my love. The world is a much sadder place without Susie Curry. I have known her for over 30 years. She was always upbeat and positive, a complete joy to be around. Although she no longer walks amongst us, she will remain very much alive in our memories. Rest in Peace beautiful Susie.

Susan, if I could speak to you one last time, I would tell you how important you were in my life. You guided me over the last five years, and not coincidentally, those were the best five years of my life. Thank you for all of those times and memories. What I will miss the most is our marathon 3 hour phone calls in which we laughed and dissected the finer points of life, work, and parenthood. Thank you.

I worked with Susan at IBM, first meeting her in a board room in 2007. I was awestruck by her ability to wrangle a room of executives with a laugh and some direct, pull no punches advice.
Last year, she and I worked on a project that lasted many, many months, and we spoke every day. On days when the crazy was getting us down, we'd chat in the evening and laugh til we cried.
She suggested that ice cream was a good fix for stress and once we shared a bowl virtually.
We had a hilarious night out at a Spanish restaurant on a work trip to Chicago... she could make anyone feel welcome and make anyone howl with laughter.
She spoke of her children with such pride and awe, and I want you to know that we all felt like we knew you. She loved you fully and deeply.
Susan was an inspiration. She was tough and kind at the same time.
I will miss her and send my deepest wishes for peace and comfort to her family.

I met Susan when she joined our Sales Presentation Coaching team 9 years ago. She was an inspiring coach who not only helped sales teams deliver amazing presentations to our clients, but throughout the years she was a strong mentor for many across our team. Susan and I became good friends over the years and I will cherish our time together and all the gifts of life that she brought to me.

Susan was a co-worker of mine at IBM for many years. She was a beautiful and classy lady. I always felt lifted up after speaking with Susan. She would share stories about her bike rides and I was always amazed at her stamina. Her light will never go out. Love and God's comfort to her family.

I am saddened beyond words to learn of Susan's passing. She was a colleague of mine at IBM and I respected and loved her passion and expertise, but also her generosity and caring more than I can say. She was a standout person; extremely valued by us all.
More personally, I was working with her this past fall when my husband was in the hospital being treated for MDS/Leukemia, and she was so genuinely sensitive and supportive it transcended a working relationship, and I very much appreciated her caring and humanity.
My husband passed on February 27, and his service is the day before Susan's. I will pray for your family in this time of extreme stress and sadness, and in the hope we can honor our loved ones wishes to find peace and happiness in the future, while still holding them close.
