Tabatha "Tabby" Allyn Toney, age 27, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away at her residence on the morning hours of Sunday, January 03, 2021. The daughter of David Allen Toney of Morganton and Bernice Moody Toney of Marion, Tabby was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on May 14, 1993.
Tabatha graduated from McDowell Technical Community College in 2013, with an Associates of Photography degree. Tabby had an amazing eye for capturing the wonder in life. The beauty that surrounded her could be felt by everyone she met. She had such a kind-hearted soul. Everything she found was a treasure to her. She found such meaning in the oddest of things. Tabby gave life to everything and everyone around her. She will be truly missed and always loved.
Left to cherish her precious memory are her father, David Allen Toney and wife, Janice; mother, Bernice Moody Toney; sister, Krista Stoot and husband, Sergeant First Class Christopher Stoot, of New York; brother, Jeremiah Toney and wife, Natascha, of Asheville; sister, Deanna Toney of Colorado; brother, Marc Thornton of Charlotte; maternal grandparents, Dean and Betty Moody of Nebo; paternal grandparents, David and Elsie Toney of Dysartsville; niece and nephews, John, Issiah and Genevieve Stoot; and best friend and cousin, Christopher Nanney of Marion.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 09, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory in Marion.

Dear family I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your beautiful daughter, sister and friend. I didn't know her but I have a daughter her age, Elizabeth and they were possibly classmates at McDowell HS. And to my friend, Bernice I am especially so sorry this has come to your doorstep. Our hope should be that we will all be together again someday.
