Teresa Chaney Obituary
Teresa Patty Chaney, 56, of Stuart, died Saturday, December 29, 2018 at her home. She was born on April 3, 1962 in Franklin County to Clemmie Ann Chaney and the late Maynard Buford “Doc” Chaney.
She was a member of the Church of the Brethren.
Other than her mother, she is survived by a sister, Maxine Chaney; a brother, Keith J. Chaney; niece, Nicole Thompson and fiancé, Alex Nolasco; nephew, Brandon Calderon; great nieces, Alyanah, Nova and Ariya; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including special caregivers and friends, Truman and Linda Lawless and family.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 1, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. The funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Ron Peal and Rev. Jeff Kaylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery at the Endicott area of Ferrum.
