On Monday, February 13, 2023, our hearts were saddened when Mr. Terry A. Parham, affectionately known as “3Daddy”, “Thweat” or “Man”, transitioned from this life to his heavenly home surrounded by family. He was born on July 30, 1963, in St Louis, MO to the late Jennette Harris and Charley Love.
Terry spent most of his life in Michigan and Petersburg, VA (Route 36). During his time here on earth, Terry loved boxing, cooking, and was a die-hard San Francisco 49ers fan until his health declined. He fought cancer for 2 years until God said that it was enough.
Along with his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his aunt, Josephine Fletcher; niece, Quentisa Snerling; and his uncle, Isaac Holmes.
Terry leaves to cherish his fondest of memories to his loving wife, Michelle Sydnor-Parham of Petersburg, VA; six children, Kymeesha Kelly, Solana Bridge, Teron Parham, Terry Parham, Jr., Terry Parham, and Shonta McFarland; three step children, Darnmisha Mason (Shawn), Deccaro and Demario Sydnor all of Petersburg, VA; four sisters, Patricia Howard of Orange, FL, Shirley Allen (deceased-Charlie) and Annie Parham both of Michigan and Earlene Melvin (Nelson) of South Ben, IN; two aunts, Doris Ellis of Detroit, MI and Annie May Worship of Mississippi; mother-in-law, Alice Smith of Petersburg, VA; brothers-in-law; Keith Sydnor of Laurel, MD and Bruce Turner of Petersburg, VA; sisters-in-law, Melissa Sydnor, Fonda Turner and Karen Sydnor all of Petersburg, VA and Cheryl Berry (Reginald) of Killeen, TX; 22 grandchildren with Keosha “Big Momma” Sydnor being devoted; devoted nephew, Derrick Sydnor; a host of his Route 36 family among them devoted, Michael “Dulu” Vaughan, Andre “Dre Boogie” Atkins and Roosevelt “Juju” Lee; devoted cousin, Kenny Fletcher; devoted friends, Jacqueline Ann Harris, Cynthia Patterson, Tony Murphy (Veronica), Darnell Lee (Tina), Kevin Green, Julie Holmes, and Kenneth Milligan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 20, 2023 at the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, Pastor Vincent Harris, eulogist. The interment to follow at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.
