Sadden to hear the passing of Mr. Grzyb. I have many fond memories of school bus rides for 12 years. I remember his annual vacations to some warm destination and bringing back souvenirs for kids on the bus. I enjoyed sharing time with Mr. & Mrs. Grzyb when they visited me in the Cayman Islands.

God Bless - Doug Kugyelka

I will always have fond memories of our time together.

From the first day of Grade 1, to my last Day of Grade 12, I exchanged "good morning" and "good night" with my School Bus driver. What an important part of my life, my roots, and a life so intertwined with the lives of my own parents.

A man to trust, and to admire; a life well lived.

Good for you, Mr. Grzyb.

G'night.

I remember very well, spending time at the M&M store in Breton. Ted and Anne were always working, Ted in the butcher shop and Anne at the checkout with an adding machine with a large crank that made quite a clatter as each item was added to a bill. But for as hard as they worked, they always seemed to find time to make their friends and family feel welcome.

I recall stories of sawmills, beaver dams and the reoccurring tales of getting the tractor stuck even deeper than last time.

When work was done, back at the farm, there was always a cold beer in the fridge, time for a break, and food to be eaten.

It seems amazing to me that a man of 91 still lived on his own, on the farm that he looked after for so many years. When asked, what are you doing these days, Ted always had an answer, delivering water to oilfield locations, fixing a tractor, going for coffee, plowing the snow, always something.

Ted, my hat is off to you, having lived life to the fullest, making the best of all situations and being a great role model to all of those people who's lives you influenced.

It is heartwarming to know, that you lived to your last day doing what you have always loved doing. You will be missed.

Duane, Fatima, Aaron and Allison Grzyb, Edmonton, Alberta.
