Thomas Crockett

Thomas Crockett "TC" was born February 14, 1961 to the late Lula Bell Crockett-Day and Leroy Crockett. Thomas made his transition on Thursday September 12, 2024 at the University of Chicago in Chicago, IL Thomas accepted Jesus as his personal Savior and was baptized in 1997. Thomas became a member of Zion Progressive Cathedral International in 2020 under the leadership of Bishop Norman J. Hairston II, where he remained a member until his transition. Thomas attended Roosevelt High School in Gary, IN. Shortly after high school he joined the United States Army. After serving his country, Thomas returned home to Indiana where he held many jobs, but mostly in factory and machine operations in South Bend, IN. Thomas was joined in holy matrimony to Karen Buggs on August 12, 2011.Thomas was preceded in death by his father Leroy Crockett, mother Lula Crockett-Day,three brothers, Ernest, Leon, David, three sisters, Daisy, Ernestine, Essie and one son Thomas Jr.He leaves his love and memories behind to his loving wife Karen; six children: Annetrice, Anthony, Don'te (Natasha) all of Minnesota, Ronnie of Gary, IN , Otis (Lauren), and Xavier; two brothers; Freddie and Ronnie of Gary, IN; six sisters, Lela, Leora, Yvonne, Novella, Idell (Willie) Farley of Gary, IN, Cosetta of Merrillville, IN; Wake Friday September 27,2024 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. all services at Tree Of Life M.B. 2323 W. 11th Ave Gary,In.
