Thomas Carson "Tom" Du Bois, 82, passed away on February 13, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Born on August 6, 1942, in Oneida, New York, Tom was baptized at St. Patrick Catholic Church and remained devoted to his faith throughout his life. He later worshiped at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jacksonville, Florida.

Tom was not only our brother, he was our hero. He always had a positive outlook on life and never complained. This world is a lesser place without Tom. I know Tom is with the good Lord today. We will never forget Tom DuBois. The Dubois family

There's a bunch of people (now in our 60's) who benefitted greatly as we were trying to find our ways in life at American High School in Dade County. FL. Tom was a great "teacher" too. He shared his life lessons and his smile to make a positive influence on many young people. My 40-year career in broadcast television was a direct result of Tom's influence and the exposure gained through the audio/visual experience in high school. He encouraged our creativity. Tom later became a great friend. Oh, the stories created and fun we had. A great man who positively influenced high school kids more than anyone would imagine. Mary Ann, thank you for putting up with me a some of the others by welcoming us into your home. Please be sure to reach out when plans are set. It would be an honor to attend and share the respect Tom showed me when I certainly did not deserve it. He positively impacts my life to this day.

Cecil and I are thinking of you very much, Mary Ann and Darin and Jessica and Hadley. If we were there, we'd surely be giving you lots of XOXO, but since we're not there we are sending them this way. We are also saying many prayers for you all and also Tom's family who also loved him very much. Cecil has been friends with Tom since the beginning of their Navy days and Tom was the one who did all the work of finding the navy buddies and bringing everyone together. And so the wives also met and, because of Tome, we have become good friends, too! And now, Tom is up in heaven happily celebrating his reunion with the other three who got there before him! May GOD bring peace to the hearts of all Tom's family and friends when the time is right for everyone! We all loved Tom!
