Thomas "Tom" W. Horton COLUMBIA - Thomas "Tom" W. Horton died March 25, 2017, at home. Born January 11, 1943, in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late T. Lewis Horton and Kathleen Horton. Tom is survived by his wife, Marilyn Morgan Horton of 30 years; brother-in-law, James "Jim" Morgan; sister, Lewellyn Horton Reppenhagen, (predeceased by sister, Venita Horton Cannon); brother-in-law Billy Cannon; son, Thomas W. "Rusty", Jr. and wife, Deborah; daughter, Angela H. Watkins; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at New Heights Church, 5501 Broad River Rd., Columbia, SC, on March 30, 2017, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. with service to follow. Private burial will be held at a later date. We wish to thank the hospice people, especially Kelly, for all their wonderful care of both Tom and the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
