Mr. Thomas Lee Jones, age 70 of McDonough, Georgia passed away January 1, 2015. He was born in Loudon, Tennessee to the late James Walter and Elizabeth Lois Moore Jones. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Jones; sisters, Sara Lennex and Bonnie Wessling; brothers, Joe, Tim and Frank Jones. Tom retired from International Paper with 44 years of service. He was a member of Conley First Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge # 399 Forest Park. Tom was a Tennessee football fan and enjoyed gardening, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and time in the mountains in his cabin. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Ann Mills Jones of McDonough; children, Steve (Sherry) Jones, Jeff “JJ” (Christie) Jones all of McDonough; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; sister and brother, Nancy Miller and Greg Jones, both of Sweetwater, TN; several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held Monday, January 5, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
