Thomas Michael Klein

July 28, 1943 - February 13, 2025

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Thomas Michael Klein on February 13, 2025, at the age of 81, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was the beloved son of Anna and Louis Klein, a devoted father to Dawn Marie (Charles Coltman IV) and Thomas (Jacqueline Chambers-Klein), and a proud grandfather to Abigail, William, Christopher, Mary, Landon, Leyton, and Loclyn. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Patricia (nee Schafer) .

Thomas is also survived by his siblings, Louis Klein (Jane) and Nancy Rudic (late Gene), and was a cherished uncle to Nancy, Amy, Joe, and the late Kim Rudic.

Thomas was a respected member of the community, dedicating his time as a football coach, track coach, Boy Scout Pack Leader, and softball league commissioner. His passion for mentoring extended beyond sports as he remained an avid volunteer throughout his life.

A dedicated member of the Longshoremen, Thomas valued his work and the lifelong friendships he built throughout his career. He had a deep love for Walt Disney World, finding immense joy in sharing its magic with his grandchildren.

Above all, his greatest love was his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them-especially fishing and crabbing, two pastimes he loved sharing. He was a father, a grandfather, a collector, a storyteller, a Disney dreamer, and an unwavering Eagles fan. But most of all, he was a man who loved deeply and unconditionally.

He will be forever missed but never forgotten. His legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Services will be private.
