RIP TOMMY. IT WAS GREAT WORKING WITH YOU ON THE LPD

Very sorry to hear of Tommy´s passing! I have many great memories of working with Tom in the LPD Radio Room upstairs in the old days as well as working details with him on Dutton Street when it was being redone! Tom worked that job so much the street should have been renamed as Tom Lapointe Boulevard! I still think of him every time I drive through Dutton and Fletcher!
In the radio room, he had the unique ability to use his soothing, polite voice to calm down excited callers and get the proper information from them so that officers could respond to calls quickly and well informed about every situation!
Tom was a nice guy and will be missed by us all who fondly remember him from the `old days´!

Tom was a good friend during his time on the police dept and later as a neighbor. He had an easy going personality and I will miss him.
