Tom was a classmate and a teammate (swim team) at DePauw. His energy and optimism were uplifting. My deepest condolences to Tom's family and my deepest regrets for not staying in touch after my move to California.

I had the honor of serving as a scribe for Dr. Ringer in Williamsport hospital from 2011-2015 and have wonderful memories of being able to support him caring for patients in the community. He led the ER with kindness, humility, and integrity. He loved to fill our downtime with stories about his adventures in Michigan with his family, and I recall one time him teasing me about my braids because "I wasn´t as good of a braider as he was", with the experience he had gained from 6 girls back home to practice on. Dr. Ringer´s impact on the world extended beyond his family and community and even touched my life, only having known him for a relatively short time. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Thinking of your family during this difficult time. I have many good memories of the many soccer games and get togethers with your family. Tom was a good man who was very proud of his family. He is definitely watching over all of his family and I know he has a smile on his face as he watches over you. So sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear of the passing of my childhood friend. Tom was our classmate at Attica into our freshman year. In Algebra 1 our teacher Miss Hale liked to make the tests shall we say challenging. With Tom in the class the top score was always a 100. This was a problem as her grading scale was 90-80-70-60 from the top score. Quickly the rule was adapted to top score not counting Tom Ringer.
That was Tom I feel we were all better for knowing him, he pulled us all up.

So sorry to hear about Tom. I worked with him in PICU. He was so very kind to the children and families under his care. Such a good doctor and man.
