As a neighbor, I will miss Tom. Late in June, I visited him. All he could talk about was how much his wife was doing to help him and fighting the battles, coordinating medications, etc. He kept talking about her support and the joy of all of his children surprising him when he came home from the hospital. He loved his family and talked about them often. He really did watch the races on Sunday, that was a passion. He also enjoyed the beach. He was always interested in what others were doing and asked questions. He did not say much about himself and it is interesting to learn about him.

I can't help but smile as I think of Uncle Tommy. I can just picture him standing with his arms crossed. He will be missed.
