Timothy David Strang

Timothy David Strang Marion, Va. Timothy David Strang, 25, went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2012, surrounded by his loving parents and family, after a lifelong and courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Timothy was an avid sports fan, a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and just a great example how life should be lived. He had previously been employed by Riverfront Restaurant in Chilhowie and enjoyed his work there as a host. He was a member of the Marion First Church of God. Survivors include his mother, Renna Strang; father and step-mother, Thomas and Robin Beal Strang; grandparents, Janet Church and Agnes Strang; two sisters, Cheryl Strang Landis and Dana Strang; two brothers, Nathan Strang and Thomas Strang Jr.; one step-sister, Nicole Follansbee; two step-brothers, David and John Follansbee; nephews, Matthew Strang, Tristan Landis, and Ashton Landis; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM, Saturday, December 29 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend William McCollian officiating. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery in Chilhowie. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 PM Saturday prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
