Tina Busse Obituary
Predeceased by her parents, Roberto and Clementina Lauro, and brother, Robert Lauro. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Dr. Lee Busse, her sister Emma Lauro, her three children: Laura-Lee Ingham (Ted), Dr. Richard Busse (Rina), Teresa Clarke (Brad), her nine grandchildren: Carmen (Megan), Lorne, Ariana, Willis, Sofia, Olivia, Christian, Sebastian, Emma, and great granddaughter, Eloise.
Tina was born in Kamloops and moved to Vancouver in 1948 to attend hairdressing school. She opened her own hair salon on Hastings Street and several years later met her future husband Lee, who had recently opened a dental practice on the same street. Tina was fiercely proud of her children and grandchildren and all of their accomplishments. Tina also had a significant circle of long time dear friends, who she held extremely close to her heart. She was a force of nature, known for her vibrant personality, words of wisdom, helpful advice and generosity. She will be so deeply missed.
Mass of Christian Burial to be held Friday January 20, 2017 at 11:00am
St. Francis de Sales Parish, 6610 Balmoral Street, Burnaby

I am so sorry to hear that Tina passed. She was a great friend to our family and mostly my mom. I used to love bowling with the girls from Buckingham too. She was tiny but full of energy and always helpful to us in times of need and also fun fun fun!! Peace be with your family as I know how much she loved all of you.

We will greatly miss Aunti Tina!! My heart and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I had the pleasure of getting to know Aunti Tina when she would come down to San Diego with Uncle Lee to visit her sister in law (Eleanor) and family. I miss all of the Busse family up in Vancouver especially Aunti Tina she was an amazing woman. I always remember her so positively proud and outspoken. Admirable confidence always radiated off of her and I will miss her presence!

Tina was a lovely woman who I feel privileged to have known. She had a beautiful personality and her love for her family was so overwhelmingly displayed. I did not know of her passing until today, and regret that I was unable to attend her funeral service and offer my condolences to the family personally.
