Todd Lovell Obituary
He was preceeded in death by his Stepfather - Kevin Bannon of Charlotte, NC and Stepmother - Gloria Lee of Laurel Hill, NC.
He is remembered by his Mom - Sherry Curran Bannon, his Son - Aaron Lovell and Aaron's Mom Jesi Lovell, his Father - Elmer Lovell, his Brother - Wesley Lovell, Sister & family - Debbie & Joe Fucello (Christina, Sarah, Grace & Michael,) his Step-Siblings Jack, Isobel and Josh Bannon, his Chosen Brother & Sister-in-Law - Brian & Melissa Vaughan, his Uncles & Aunts - John & Melissa Curran, James & Stephanie Curran, Robert & Annette Linkous, Fonda Thomas and numerous loving cousins.
Born in Alexandria, VA, and a long time resident of Cleveland County, Todd was a graduate of Crest High School in Shelby, NC - Class of 2001. He earned his Associate's Degree from Northern Virginia Community College in 2004. Todd moved to Lowell, NC and worked for many years as an HVAC mechanic in Charlotte, NC where he was one of the most knowledgeable and talented technicians in his field, working his way up to Service Manager.
Todd never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation with a new acquaintance in the same way he would a life-long friend. He was always the life of the party. Between his booming voice that rang to the rafters and his unwavering charisma, you always knew when Todd entered a room. Todd loved football, specifically the San Francisco 49ers. He was a founding member, treasurer and co-commisioner of his Fantasy Football league, the ACFL. Todd was a gifted musician. He enjoyed listening to and playing heavy metal music and going to concerts and metal shows. His favorite band was Metallica.
Todd was a one of a kind soul with the biggest heart who made and left such an impact on anyone who was lucky enough to know him. If you met him even once you definitely have a great story to tell about Todd. We would love to hear all about these moments as we share with one another at his Celebration of Life which will be held: Thursday, October 17th at 7 pm at Legacy Event Center located at 207 S. Chestnut St. Gastonia, NC 28055

Todd and his mother lived across the street from us when he was in school. He was friends with our daughter Carrie. Sorry to hear that he has passed away.

So sad to hear this he was such a good person n never met a stranger he was a good friend to me n always so kind I can´t think of one bad thing anyone could say about him I remember going to carowinds with him n his family in middle school first time I ever rode the sky coaster I wouldn´t pull the cord because I was so scared he said I got it but lol he couldn´t do it either we were stuck for about five mins trying to get courage up to pull it lol finally he did it cause he said I want out of this n only way was down we had such a good day a day of laughter I´ll never forget

Todd, you will be greatly missed. You always knew how to brighten up a room, and your bond with Josiah was very special. He loved going to your house and playing with all the Thomas the train toys. And every time he would leave, you would let him pick out a very special Thomas the train to take home with him. My condolences to the Lovell family...

My childhood was great cause of friends like Todd.The countless night that we would raid his house to play video games and eat all his moms food.
