Tracy Ross Mehlhoff; son, brother, father and grandfather left us March 8, 2007, a victim of heart failure.
Tracy was born September 13, 1957 to Jeanice Price and Donald Fred Mehlhoff in Provo, Utah.
He graduated from Orem High School, obtained a welding certification and later went to U.V.S.C. for business management. He married Doris DeLayne Dalton and they were the parents of three children; Travis, Jennifer and Ashley. They later divorced.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had a firm testimony of The Gospel of Jesus Christ. He never doubted and questioned as to the whys.
Tracy had a kind heart and a most giving spirit as many recipients would attest. He was blessed with good friends and when Tracy was a friend, it was in every sense of the word.
He loved hunting, golfing and especially fishing. He could catch fish when everyone else thought there were no fish to be had.
He is survived by his parents, Don and Jeanice Mehlhoff of Orem, UT, his three children, Travis Mehlhoff of Orem, UT., Jenny Mehlhoff of Orem, UT., Ashley Mehlhoff of Spokane, Washington, his granddaughter, Grace Mehlhoff of Orem, UT., his five siblings, Todd Mehlhoff of Orem, UT, Trent Mehlhoff of Lindon, UT., Taryn Mehlhoff of Highland, UT., Brook Harrison of Hyrum, UT. and Troy Mehlhoff of Alpine, UT. He was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles and a niece.
Tracy fly high, we will miss you and your most thoughtful generous and loving spirit until we meet again.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home Chapel, 646 East 800 North, Orem, Utah. Family and friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. or on Wednesday morning from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
