Trenton Kalamar "Red Rocket" "Red Rocket" Tyree

Mr. Trenton Kalamar "Red Rocket" Tyree, age 17, a life-long resident of Rome and Lindale, passed away suddenly from a tragic accident at his residence on Thursday, August 6, 2015.

He was born in Rome on October 28, 1997, son of Debbie Penney Tyree and Bruce Tyree. He was a Pepperell Dragon from Pre-K all the way to his senior year. He was known by his family and friends to be an outgoing, compassionate, hilarious, and respectful young man. He was always making someone laugh and putting a smile on everyone's face with his huge grin. Trent was a very devoted uncle who loved his nephew with all his heart. He was looking forward to his Senior year and starting on the Pepperell High School Dragon football team with his teammates. He regarded his fellow football players as if they were his brothers. He will be genuinely missed by so many people. "Only the good die young". He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ollie Penney.

Survivors include his parents, Debbie and Bruce Tyree, Rome; a sister, Stephanie Bristow, Rome; a nephew, Hudson Bristow, Rome; grandparents, Peggy Penney, and Billy and Barbara Tyree, all of Rome; stepmother, Candy Knowles Tyree; step-sisters, Paige, Heidi, and Nikki Fosha; step-brother, Teddy Hutchins; aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends who became his family.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at the Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky Studdard officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Tuesday from 5pm until 8pm. At other hours, they may be contacted at their respective residences.

All pallbearers are asked to assemble at the Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church Wednesday at 10:30am and include: Active: Kody Jackson, Andrew Lopez, Kenneth Reddish, Jacob Redden, Reed Jackson and Colton Baker. Honorary: Senior members of the Pepperell High School Football Team and the coaching staff.
