Tyson RUDD Obituary
July 30, 1993 - September 8, 2013
It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved son. After a 4 1/2 year battle with leukemia sadly Tyson has passed away. He will be dearly missed by all his family, and many friends. We would like to thank all of our family and friends for the unconditional love and support they have given us over the years. We would also like to express our gratitude to all the staff at BC Children's Hospital for always going above and beyond. Dr. Bond, Dr. Rod, Dr. Lucy, Juliana, Andrea, Kristina and so many wonderful nurses. Thank you for making him feel so much more than a patient but that he was amongst friends. Please join us for a Celebration of Tyson's Life at The Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier, 138 Victory Ship Way, North Vancouver on Sunday, September 22nd at 2:00p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Children's Hospital or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Rudd family,
I am only now learning of Tyson's passing. I found out through a fellow classmate. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I remember Tyson well from my days teaching at Ross Road Elementary School. That was a wonderful class and he was a pleasure to teach. May he rest in peace in the presence of God Almighty.

I am so very sorry to read of Tyson's passing. My youngest son Dustin (then 3) and Tyson were both on the Oncology ward at Childrens at the same time. Shannon, sometimes we chatted in the hall or 3B kitchen. My heartfelt condolences to your family.
