Verniece Snyder

Verniece (Taylor), "Peewee" Age 75, of Horseheads, passed on peacefully Sunday, October 12, 2003. Verniece was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Chuck; a son, Skip of Erin; and daughter, Susan (Ron) of Mexico, NY; and daughter-in-law, Pam. She was predeceased by her loving youngest child, Scott T. in October 2000. Also surviving Peewee are two sisters, Ruth Wood and Shirley Peck. Peewee was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren, Jaime, Mathew, Joshua, Cody, Stacie, Morgan, Andrew, and James; and great-grandmother of Allie and Gabriel. Peewee was a homemaker for the last 35 years and her greatest passion was her family. She was a life long member of First United Methodist Church in Horseheads. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to: Horseheads Emergency Volunteers, 134 N. Main St., Horseheads, NY. At Peewee's request there will be no services; "Just remember me as I was." Arrangements with Barber Funeral Home, Horseheads.
