Vicki B. Yates

Vicki Bossart Yates, age 58, took flight to a better place on December 8, 2009 following a courageous fight against brain cancer. She was born June 1, 1951 in Oklahoma City to Stanley and Jean Bossart. She was married to her loving husband of thirty-seven years, Robert (Bobby) E. Yates in 1972. Deer Park, Texas was her home for over 30 years.
She was a devoted wife, mother and friend to many quilters. She loved her whole family. Vicki's love and devotion to her family and friends was surpassed only by her food and quilting. Her food was loved by all and her quilt work was perfection as was confirmed by her many quilting friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Bobby Yates, daughter Brook, sons, Tyler and Chad, daughter-in-law to be Angee, her brother Brent Bossart and his wife Rhonda, her brothers and sisters in-law Jimmy and Lynn Yates, Mike and Cheryl Yates, her nieces, nephews, and countless quilting friends.
