Victoria "Vicky" Giorno

Victoria Giorno (Sept. 22, 1934 – June 11, 2022) Victoria Anastasia passed away peacefully on June 11th accompanied by loving members of her family. She is survived by her husband, Vincent; her sons, Vincent (Jiap) and David; her daughter, Stacy (Richard) Gibbons; her siser, Michelle (Michael) Tozzi; and six grandchildren: Richard, Jessica, Thaowan, Allison, Robert and Janpah. A very caring and sociable person, Vicky grew up in Narberth and graduated from Lower Merion High School, where she met Vince, her husband of 68 years. After having their second child, they bought a house in Broomall. Vicky spent most of her adult life caring for her family. Except for when the children were too small to go to school, she also worked as a secretary for the Edward A. Lynch Machinery Co. in Wynnewood, having been shunted into the high school business track, along with almost every other girl. Somehow, she managed it all, including cooking just about every night. Although she did not like to fly, Vicky made it out to the West Coast, to the Rockies, north to Montreal and south to the Caribbean. She was particularly fond of Marco Island on Florida's Gulf coast, and even made a trip to Italy, but her favorite spot in the world had to be her back porch, where she would read and look out over the backyard into the woods. Vicky has now rejoined her father Frank Tigano, and her mother, Angeline (nee Scarpone). She will be greatly missed by those she left behind Contributions in Vicky's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, from 10 a.m. at St. Anastasia's Church in Newtown Square, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. celebrating her life, ALL services will be held in church.
