Victoria O'Neill Obituary
She was born in Plattsburgh on Oct. 5, 1993, the daughter of Heather O'Neill and Patrick J. Plumadore.
Tori was a junior at Saranac Central School. She was chief of the Explorers of the Cadyville Fire Department. She enjoyed attending the races at Airborne Raceway and her allied health classes at CV Tech. She also enjoyed hunting and driving with her new learner's permit.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Heather O'Neill and Walter Bordeau of Cadyville; her father, Patrick J. Plumadore of Redford; her stepsister, Debra Bordeau of Plattsburgh; her maternal grandparents, Timothy O'Neill of Morrisonville, Sandy O'Neill and her companion, Robert Laware Jr. of Cadyville; her paternal great-grandmother Gero; her maternal great-grandparents, Frieda and Leander Lamar of Cadyville; her maternal great-grandmother, Anita O'Neill of Ocala, Fla.; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and many friends.
She was predeceased by her maternal great-grandfather, Hillary "Hy" O'Neill; her maternal step-grandmother, Betty O'Neill; and her paternal grandfather, Larry Plumadore.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at 11 a.m. from St. James Church in Cadyville.
Donations in memory of Tori may be offered to the Explorers in care of the Cadyville Fire Department.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, N.Y. Online condolences and memorial candles may be offered at www.brownfuneralhomeinc.com.

I just had met Tori at cvtec not long ago, the class brought all of us so close we all feel like family. A memory I will keep with my always is when we were learning skills and had to feed each other. So we knew what it was like to not be able to take care of our self with something as simple as wiping you face. Tori was my partner in this activity. Our teacher Ms. Shambrook leaned over to her while Tori was feeding me and I was blindfolded and not aloud to speak or move and whispered Tori get some on her face :). I heard her say "do I have to??" she was always so caring like that. But she did... all over my chin.. good times. Im so glad I had the time that I did with her.

I have personally witnessed a close community who is so deeply saddened with the loss of Tori. Her classmates and friends were very touched by Tori and they share in the pain of her loss. She clearly touched everyone in such a positive way. Please know that we are keeping Tori's family and friends in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

Im so sorry for your lost, I never got the chance to meet Tori but i use to alaways see her around, whenever you would see her smile she made you smile, she will be missed by everyone she will be looking down on everyone.

Please know that though I never met your daughter Tori, my son had & though he hadn't seen her but a few times, he spoke so highly of her. One night, he came home & told me he & his group of friends met some new kids @ the races & the one who stuck in his mind was "a really cool, smiling girl, I think from Saranac or Morrisonville named Tori".When I read about her passing, I showed him her picture & he just sobbed. She truly is a gem to have affected a near stranger,a teen boy, to such a degree. An entire community grieves & sheds tears with you, for she touched the lives of many strangers you may never know.So very sorry for your loss.....

I have so many memories of Tori but one that always comes to my mind is the night that I spent the night at heather's trailor when Tori was about 9 yrs. old. Tori did not want to sleep in her room or anywhere that her mother wasn't. She was very attached to her mother and refused to leave her alone. So I had an idea to break her of this once and for all. My plan was to stay in the doorway of her room and not let her leave her room and run to her Mom. She screamed and screamed for her mother and I told her she was fine. She fought me for about 2 hours and we finally talked and she understood why I was doing it but didn't like it. She gave me a hug and kiss and went to sleep without her mother by her side. When she woke up in the morning, she was so proud of herself and smiled and hugged her Mom. I loved that night for the one reason that we connected. She was a very special person and she is deeply missed.
