Dear Maria, Joseph and Anthony:
I was very sorry to learn about the passing of Vincent. Since I arrived at Westchester Community College in 2001, I had the pleasure of working with Vincent.
We last worked together during the fall semester of 2014. Since I taught most of my classes off campus during the Spring of 2015, I did not see Vincent due to our different schedules.
I was well aware that he was sick but never was informed about his passing by anyone here in the department at Westchester Community College.
Since some former adjunct faculty members in our department have passed away during the last year, we were discussing them during lunch on Tuesday, December 6th. I was very shocked to hear Vincent's name. As I said to Fran Regan and Barbara Connolly, no one ever informed me and I was summer session here at that time.
Please accept my sympathy. Since I lost my mother at the end of 2001, I know that it is very painful but God gives us the strength to live on.
I am very sorry that I did not pay my respects and attend the funeral. You have many good memories to cherish.
Sincerely,
Dr. Frank Veteri- Adjunct Professor of History and Political Science at Westchester Community and Iona College
