Vincent Michael Rimmer

Vincent Michael Rimmer, of Edgewater Park, NJ, born on June 18, 1982 passed away in his sleep at age 36 on May 27, 2019 in Galloway, NJ. Vinnie was a Tattoo Artist since 2001 and most recently worked at Slingin' Ink Tattoo in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. His love for tattooing showed in every piece he created. Even when he wasn't working, he was continuously drawing, painting and creating new flash. To Vinnie, tattooing was more than a job; it was his passion. Though Vinnie loved his work, he always said his favorite job was being a dad to Marlee and Nora. Vinnie was an amazing father who was so proud of Marlee and was looking forward to raising Nora. He had a love for all Philly sports, especially the Flyers. Let's go Flyers! Vinnie loved to cook a big meal for his family whenever he could but, no matter the meal, you can bet he tossed some hot sauce on it. Vinnie had the kindest heart and was always there for his friends and family in their times of need. Vinnie was loved by so many and has left a mark on all our hearts.

Vinnie was the beloved husband of Kaitlyn Rimmer and loving father to Marlee Rimmer and Eleanor "Nora" Rimmer. Vinnie is survived by his father, Robert Maugeri, sisters Angela Maugeri Buzzard and Gina Maugeri, grandmother, Catherine Groux-Guadagnino; aunts, Linda Stokley, Tracy Laboy, Michele Lloyd, and Kim Walder; and uncles, Kevin Stokley, Domingo Laboy, Gary Cooper, and Edward Lloyd. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Vinnie was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Reynolds; grandfathers, Robert "Pep" Maugeri and Glenn Reynolds; aunt, Cookie Cooper; and uncle, Joe Walder. In leiu of flowers, donations can be made to Ocean Mental Health Services in Vinnie's honor. Friends and family are welcome to attend the memorial service on Tuesday, June 4 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, New Jersey, 08008. A lunch will be held at Element Bar and Restaurant to celebrate Vinnie's life following the service .
