Hey Vinny! I wrote to you to wish you a Happy Birthday but the entry never went through.
We had a fun Celebrating you!! We know you were there because we had some "crazy" weather. The balloons got stuck up in the only tree that was there to possibly get caught in. The wind was so crazy Mom couldn't lite your candles. You were probably laughing at all of us huddling on the ground to block the wind especially after Mom lit a whole box of matches! Uncle Joe was there too! Boy, you really know how to play jokes! Thanks for making us laugh. We all shed some tears but we had a lot of fun. Thanks for yet another "Unforgetable Vinny Moment"

I thought of you often yesterday, and of how we spent your last few birthdays together--that crazy cake your friends bought you, the guitar and how you spent hours trying to learn Fleetwood Mac, lots of good memories of laughter and love. Hey Vinny!! There are so many things going on in my life right now that I wish I could just pick up the phone and tell you about. I know that I talk to you in Spirit, but you know it's just not the same. Thank you for sending me the signs from heaven showing me you are with me.Ex: the live little Baby Turtles, the Rainbows, The Butterflies,the late night bird chirping so softly just outside my bedroom window, and the pennies!! Mom's getting the pennies too!! I Miss You So Much even though I know you're around me.

Hi son. These last past weeks have been pretty hard....I miss you so much-warts and all!! One day the pain seem to subside and the next day it's back in full force. My life was forever changed on 7/16/06 and I know it will never be the same. Every morning I sit outside & have coffee in "Vinny Place" I talk to every orange butterfly that comes by to visit me....as I know it's you just keeping me company. My prayers are with you day & night. I had a Mass said for you last Sunday at St. Josephs RCC at 12:00. We were all there(Joe,Jus & Gary), we prayed for a sign that you would join us.....sure enough when they sang the song, "YOU ARE MINE" Jus & I started crying, as we knew you were righ there with us again!!!
My prayer for you is, now that you are in heaven, you may share in God's glory & in His power in a more perfect way.

The sorrow we feel will never go away and neither will our memories of Vinny. He had the best Wedding and the most meaningful, beautiful wake. He always has a way of bringing everyone together for a good time and lots of laughs. So I can say for myself when we all came together to mourn his loss and yet laugh at the good times(whether we knew each other or not at the wake)it helps make me Smile for a while!! Justine
