Virginia Watts Obituary

Virginia I. (Hoke) Watts 83 of Harrisburg, died Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Colonial Park Care Center. Virginia was born in Harrisburg and was the daughter of the late J. Russell and Mary Hoke. She worked at Brotherhood Relief Railroad and later retired from M&T Bank where she was a file clerk. She was a member of Paxton United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School Secretary, helped to bag Easter eggs and other church functions. She was a member of Susquehanna Golden Age and Lower Paxton AARP. She enjoyed bowling and cooking. Virginia was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Dundore. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Judy L. (Clark) Kitner of Mechanicsburg; her grandson, Derek M. Kitner; her brother, Charles E. (Ethel) Hoke, Sr. of Dauphin; two nieces and one nephew. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 11 A.M. at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg. Pastor Zack Wilt and Pastor Brent Salsgiver will be officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. A Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7 to 8 P.M. and on Friday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the funeral home, prior to the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Paxton United Methodist Church, 3550 N Progress Ave, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
