Vita Adami Obituary
Worcester - Vita Adami, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 65 years Dhimiter (Taqo) Adami of Worcester, MA; son Fatos Adami and his wife, Moza Adami of Stallings, NC; daughter Mila Bajraktari and her husband, Bashkim Bajraktari of Worcester, MA; grandchildren: Linda Adami-Patel and her husband Rakesh Patel; Arber Bajraktari and his wife Maggie Bajraktari; Ilda Bajraktari Molloy and her husband Michael Molloy; Johan Adami; and her great grandson, Luca Bajraktari.
Vita was born in Jenkins, KY on June 1st 1927; she moved to Albania in 1931 and lived a very dynamic life. She became a textile engineer and held various high level positions throughout her career. During retirement, she selflessly dedicated herself to her children and grandchildren. In 1997, she moved to Worcester, MA where she continued to live an active life with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Vita's family on Tuesday, July 24th from 5:00-8:00 PM at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 25th at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Hope Cemetery, Worcester, MA
