W.C. "BILL"
On Sunday, September 19, 2004, W.C. "Bill" Leininger, age 76, beloved husband of Shirley McMillin Leininger of Avalon. Also survived by loving children, Kenneth M. Leininger & his wife Cindy of Memphis, TN, Susan M. Enzerra & her husband David of Painesville, OH, W. Matthew Leininger & his wife Sandy of Baltimore, MD and Lori A. Rankin & her husband Wade of Glenshaw; brother, Robert F. Leininger & his wife Helen of Emsworth; sister, Linda Lee Murray & her husband Harry of Avalon; and by nine grandsons and three granddaughters. Mr. Leininger served with the U.S. Army in Korea during that conflict. He was retired from U.S. Steel (USX) where he served for 39 years in the Public Relations Department. He was a graduate of Avalon High School and a member of the Old Tymers Club. Friends invited Friday 2-4 & 7-9 in the THE ORION C. PINKERTON FUNERAL HOME, INC., A GOLDEN RULE MEMBER FIRM, 1014 California Avenue Avalon, (North Boros). Additional visitation Saturday from 10am until the time of funeral services at 11am in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 638 California Avenue, Avalon, PA 15202 where Mr. Leininger had been a lifetime member and to which memorials in his memory are suggested.
